Brand identity for Buffer – a mindful new train service helping commuters reclaim the time between their work and home lives.
The identity takes inspiration from the 'in-between', visualised as a bold line that separates content and creates space to breathe. Buffer's calming gradient, shifting from purple to blue, reflects both the mental transition from stress to ease and the endless ways to spend the 'time between'. The design is deliberately pared back and minimal, acting as a blank canvas for commuters to make their own.
